BS 8233:1999 contains guidance on noise control within a variety of buildings including offices. This includes recommended levels for the sound insulation performance of internal partitions, as well as internal ambient noise levels. Further guidance is contained within the BCO publications ‘Guide to Specification’ and ‘Guide to Fit Out'. Depending on the intended use of a particular building, clients will often have more specific requirements.

HRS Services has considerable experience in the provision of both acoustic consultancy and sound and noise testing for new and refurbished office developments.
