Air Tightness Contracting Work
Our site teams have unrivalled experience of all types of air sealing. Air seals, (with or without fire protection), in all construction types, are our specialist discipline. Make sure you get the right materials installed the right way, first time. HRS Services will work during construction to fit seals at the most appropriate stage, giving low air leakage for minimum investment.
During refurbishment, or even with a building in use, HRS Services can identify and tackle the causes of air leakage. Clients can cut life time heating costs and improve user comfort appreciably by upgrading air tightness. A particular benefit is the saving that can result from specifying lower capacity H&V plant for well sealed buildings. The expense of air sealing a refurbishment can be more than offset by service plant cost reduction, with the extra benefits of operation still to come. Note, we have noticed ambient temperatures in some existing buildings to rise by 5°C after air sealing works have been completed!
