Smoke testing equipment can be taken along with any air test rig, which allows for a rapid visual diagnosis of air tightness problems - air leakage paths. The smoke is not harmful but it is useful to inform the fire brigade.

HRS has both hand-held and full building smoke generators. The full building smoke generators can be linked together to ensure all parts of the building are filled with smoke. When the building is pressurised, smoke is forced out through air leakage paths thereby providing conclusive evidence of areas requiring attention.

Results are recorded digitally for later use. CD-ROM copies can be produced.
