Fall Protection - High Level Solution For Building Maker

HRS Services has installed some 200m of fall arrest cable for a leading manufacturer of prefabricated buildings. The manufacturing process for such buildings, that are generally in excess of 2.5m high, means that from time to time the production team has to work on the roof of the structures.

To meet health and safety regulations and ensure the welfare of the workforce, fall protection was provided. HRS Services used a synthetic Uniline cable to span the 15m gap between the rafters in the factory ceiling. Each line supports four retractable fall arrest blocks on pulleys. This means that employees can attach to the system at ground level and then move safely up into the roof of the structure being fabricated with total freedom of movement.
