Retrofit

With ever increasing emphasis on Health and Safety, Facilities Managers are increasingly aware of the need to take action to increase the level of safety on their property. Many factory roofs have no safe access for the changing of fan filters or general maintenance.

Often a safety line will be a simple and effective solution. Supporting posts can either be 'top fixed' to the roof sheet or 'through fixed' and clamped to the underlying roof structure. The final solution will depend upon the nature of the roof.

Other areas of the property may benefit from guard rail. Often production facilities will have fixed hooped ladders which offer little protection against a fall. Vertical wire and rail systems can be retrofitted to these to provide safe access.
