Walkways

HRS Services work with a variety of modern, high performance materials such as Glass Reinforced Polymer to meet the walkway requirements of our clients. GRP is light weight, extremely strong and is not degraded by UV.

HRS Services design team can develop bespoke bracket systems to meet the projects' criteria. Our walkways are of particular use on secret fix standing seam roofs where the load of foot traffic is distributed along the standing seams preventing damage. Patented clamps are used to hold the walkway in position. Posts supporting demarcation chain or guard rail can be clamped to the standing seams to contain the walkway.

Often the roofs of older industrial structures or historic buildings will have dangerous rotting wooden duck boards or in some cases no walkway at all where access is required. These will often require bespoke solutions and will pose particular difficulties in achieving a safe method of installation.
