In some ways the actual on site inspection and testing of Highways bridges and structures is the straight forward element of this work. A broad variety of other disciplines are required to manage risks including working at height and works over and adjacent to motorways and other public roads.

Working over water and within confined spaces also requires specialist skills and equipment.  All HRS Inspection teams are trained in roped access techniques to IRATA Standards and hold IPAF certificates meaning that complex structures can be inspected safely without the need for expensive scaffolding and maximising the use of available roadspace. Many inspectors also hold confined space entry certificates allowing teams to examine culverts in addition to more conventional structures such as over and under bridges.

HRS Services has the benefit of 25 years of experience, offering multi disciplinary inspection teams and safe, effective management of site risks whilst providing an efficient engineering and testing service. In this capacity, HRS Services have worked closely with local authorities and consultant engineers across the country assisting with and carrying out Principal Inspections and Inspections for Assessment.

HRS Services Limited is currently carrying out principle inspection and testing work on motorway under and overbridges and retaining walls on the M40 and M25.
