Job & Stores Assistant

The Stores Department currently has a full time vacancy for a Stores Assistant based at our office premises in Sheffield. HRS Services Ltd is a specialist contracting Support Company working within the construction industry and other commercial sectors.

The Position:

The role holder will be primarily working at our office premises in Sheffield. The role holder may also be required to travel, using a company vehicle, outside of the office premises, completing duties associated with the operational requirements of the Stores Department and other departments where necessary. Full training will be provided, where required.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the effective management of the Stores Operation
  • To assist at office based premises in Sheffield, as required, supporting office and stores based related functions, including support in the calibration processes, testing of all site and stores based equipment, ensuring equipment has a certificate of conformity ,where applicable and in line with HRS Services Ltd policies and procedures
  • To assist in the selection, supply and despatch of stores equipment to site in line with HRS Services Ltd policies and procedures
  • To check, inspect and re assign equipment returned to stores from site in line with HRS Services Ltd policies and procedures.
  • To accept incoming deliveries in line with HRS Services Ltd policies and procedures.
  • To ensure adequate vehicle resourcing for sites in line with HRS Services Ltd policies and procedures.
  • To assist in ensuring that a ll vehicles are maintained in line with HRS Services Ltd policies and procedures.
  • To assist the Stores Manager with in store auditing of equipment and all related documentation and processes in line with HRS Services Ltd policies and procedures
  • Where necessary, on rare occasions, visit sites UK wide, to provide assistance to other HRS Services Ltd employees, where trained to do so. Full training, where necessary will be provided.
  • To ensure client satisfaction, including prompt dealing with client queries and concerns.
  • To maintain a professional relationship with all clients and work colleagues and adhere to HRS Services dress code standards.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the range of services that HRS Services Ltd can provide.

About the Person:

  • Strong communication skills and organisational abilities, ideally with a basic understanding of building construction.
  • Computer literate
  • Professional approach to team and client relationships.
  • Enthusiastic, hard working, self motivated and with a flexible approach to their job role.
  • Full UK and current driving licence for driving vehicles up to 3500kg.
  • The ideal candidate for the role would be locally based to our premises in Sheffield.

The Benefits:

Salary: £14000 negotiable on experience.
Holidays: 25 days per annum, plus public bank holidays
Hours: Typically Monday to Friday 0830 to 1700.Half hour unpaid lunch. Flexibility to work weekends on the very rare occasions when this may be required.

Air Tightness Testing Technician

The Air Tightness Testing Operations department currently has a full time, vacancy for an Air Tightness Testing Technician. HRS Services Ltd is a specialist contracting Support Company working within the construction industry and other commercial sectors.

The Position:

The role holder will be primarily working across the UK, providing Air Tightness Testing for our clients and working from our premises in Sheffield, supporting office based functions, including support in the calibration processes of site equipment. Full training will be provided, where required.

Responsibilities:

  • To travel throughout UK to carry out effective building Air Tightness tests on site, in accordance with HRS Services Ltd accredited Quality Management Systems, policies and procedures.
  • Identifying air leakage paths in buildings that have failed a test.
  • Where test fails, to help client identify reasons for failure.
  • To provide Air Tightness Testing Operations department with valid and complete air tightness test data, to enable compilation of test reports in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
  • To assist at office based premises in Sheffield, as required, supporting office based functions, including support in the calibration processes of site equipment.
  • To ensure client satisfaction, including prompt dealing with client queries and concerns.
  • To maintain a professional relationship with all clients and work colleagues and adhere to HRS Services dress code standards.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the range of services that HRS Services Ltd can provide.

Hours: Typically Monday To Friday but must be flexible to work weekends as and when required.40 hours per week, half hour unpaid lunch.
