Sustainability Champion (previously known as BREEAM Accredited Professional or BREEAM AP)
What does a Sustainability champion do? How can they help me?
The role of the HRS Sustainability Champion (previously known as BREEAM AP) is to work closely with you and guide you through the RIBA stages, looking at your designs to ensure you achieve the maximum amount of BREEAM credits in the most cost effective way.
What is the difference between a Sustainability Champion and a BREEAM Assessor?
A Sustainability Champion cannot sign off that the final BREEAM rating has been achieved, their role is advisory, whereas a BREEAM Assessor’s role is to review and confirm. HRS Sustainability Champions are also BREEAM Assessors who have a wealth of in-depth experience in helping clients to achieve their desired BREEAM Rating.
